New England College of Optometry’s Sunday Series offers professional continuing education on a variety of optometric topics. All programs are COPE-accredited courses intended to augment clinical skills and promote excellence in patient care.

The Sunday Series programs are held at the 424 Beacon Street campus from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM (registration/breakfast begins at 8:00 AM). The fall season will include:

Carlo Pelino and Matt Garston as they dispel the myth by taking you on a journey that leads the way back to your patient and their specific presenting problem. Fascinating cases presented by two legendary clinicians will challenge existing clinical decision-making precepts while providing a comprehensive approach to arriving at the correct diagnosis.
December 2, 2018: Retina Grand Rounds
Speakers: Delia Sang, MD and Vasiliki Poulaki, MD, PhD
Recent advances in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of retinal disease have changed the way we think of the retina and have defied old notions, resulting in a more contemporary approach to caring for patients with retinal disorders. Challenging cases will be presented by two distinguished ophthalmologists who will illustrate this evolution and provide new insights into our philosophy of care and our approach to educating our patients.
March 9 - 10, 2019: Low Vision University
This two day certificate program will focus on diagnosing and treating low vision.
