We are looking for a caring O.D. to add to our growing eye care practice. We are searching for a talented, personable, caring, ethical doctor to join our fabulous team in Colchester and Hebron CT. We have a wonderful, warm-hearted environment and are looking to add a talented and caring optometrist who wants to practice a high level of primary care in a family practice setting. We are looking for an O.D. starting spring of 2018.
We have four optometrists in two offices who all work really well together to deliver the best care possible to our patients. We are an extremely medical practice and work closely with local medical providers. Our staff is caring and well trained. Many of our patients have been with the practice for years and come expecting to have a good experience which makes for a great collection of patients to work with! Our goal is not to churn patients, it is to give the best care possible and our patients appreciate it. We love technology and continually invest to stay up to date.
We think we have created and wonderful place to work and to deliver the best care and know our current associates feel the same way. Below is a note from one our current associates, Dr. Sadanowicz:
"Having worked in hospital, corporate, and private practice settings, Colchester Eye Care stands out to me because it truly is a family practice. The patients we see here are patients from the community around us, who keep coming back year after year, and so, as a practitioner, you develop a relationship with your patients beyond just the eye exam. Exams are not rushed and so you have the time and in fact are encouraged to get to know the people in your chair, which I love. When I was just starting optometry school and thinking about how my life would be after graduation, this is the type of practice I had imagined I would be in; we practice the best kind of optometry here. Another great thing about CEC is the staff- everyone works together for the same goal; to make the patients happy and get through the day with smiles on our faces. People are friendly, happy, and care about doing their jobs right.
Here also I have room to explore my interests professionally. I see patients in a wide range of ages, socioeconomic backgrounds, etc and so see a very wide range of conditions. I'm encouraged to develop my specialty and interests and so never feel complacent or bored. Our equipment is current and so I am able to practice to the highest level of care and also co-manage a variety of retina, cataract, glaucoma, and refractive surgery cases. Coming out of my residency, I worried that I may not be using all the training I had received. However, here I truly do."
